Miami-based OpenEvidence has reached a $15 billion valuation. Nearly two-thirds of US doctors now use its AI-powered search engine for patient decisions. The company, founded by Daniel Nadler in 2022, reported that many of America’s 1 million physicians processed more than 42 million prompts last month.

The platform operates on an ad-supported model. It allows doctors to query medical journals and clinical guidelines to assist with diagnosis and treatment. OpenEvidence has expanded primarily through word of mouth. It is gaining traction in a sector where few digital tools have achieved similar adoption rates.

Nadler described the platform as the first viral consumer internet app in healthcare during an interview with the Financial Times.
