Lamine Yamal scored a powerful sixth-minute goal against Czechia on Saturday, extending Spain's unbeaten run to 41 matches in the Nations League. The 19-year-old forward cut inside from the right and curled the ball into the top left corner with his left foot, leaving Czechia goalkeeper Antonín Kinský with no chance to save it.
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente watched the strike with a mixture of admiration and disbelief. This goal follows recent early strikes by Yamal, including second-minute goals in a 4-1 victory over Croatia on Tuesday and a 3-2 win away at England on Sept. 26.
The Spanish national team enters this stretch as the reigning World Cup champions. Yamal is also performing strongly for his club, Barcelona, the current La Liga champion. He remains a contender for the Ballon d'Or award.
