HP's new 2026 OmniBook 5 14 is a laptop priced at $699.99 that aims to compete directly with Apple's MacBook Neo. The base model includes an Intel Core 5 315 "Wildcat Lake" processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB solid-state drive.
The hardware specifications align closely with recent offerings from Dell, Asus, and Acer, as well as Apple's new entry. HP offers the OmniBook in four color options: silver, pink, blue, and green. A key differentiator for the new model is that every configuration includes an OLED display.
Customers can customize the laptop with higher-end components, including up to an Intel Core 7 350 chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. According to The Verge, all models feature a 1080p screen.
