Xbox has secured the exclusive rights to stream Grand Theft Auto VI at launch through its Xbox Cloud Gaming service.
Xbox chief executive Asha Sharma informed employees during an all-hands meeting that Microsoft is preparing a move regarding the upcoming game that no other platform holder is attempting.
According to sources familiar with Microsoft's plans, the agreement ensures that only Xbox Cloud Gaming will be able to stream the title to players when it releases.
The duration of this exclusive arrangement remains unclear. Rockstar Games has not yet announced a PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI. This deal allows Xbox to market its cloud gaming service to players.
