Russia struck weapons production plants and industrial sites across Ukraine overnight, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
Production plants, meaning factories that manufacture weapons rather than store or deploy them, were named explicitly: the Fire Point facility in Kiev, which makes Flamingo missiles, and the Kiev-111 plant, also in Kiev, which produces drones.
Both capital sites were described as targets in the same overnight operation. Fire Point and Kiev-111 represent the manufacturing end of the weapons supply chain.
Disrupting a factory reduces what an army can resupply over weeks and months, a different category of pressure than destroying an existing stockpile.
