A private placement, meaning a fundraise conducted by selling shares directly to a select group of investors outside a public stock exchange, is running past its original deadline at Prime Drink.
The beverage company has extended that round. It has also delayed the filing of its annual financial reports.
What the extension means When a company extends a private placement, the original window has closed without the full amount being raised. Investors already inside the round are asked to hold their commitments open.
New participants may still be invited in. Companies use private placements to raise money faster and with less regulatory overhead than a public offering requires.
