has appointed John Vandemore as its next Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a role set to begin on November 1, 2026.
The San Francisco-based company announced the hiring in a press release dated September 30, 2026, identifying Vandemore as the successor to Harmit Singh, who is preparing to retire.
Michelle Gass, President and Chief Executive Officer of Levi Strauss & Co., said the company is building a more direct-to-consumer business and transforming into a leading denim lifestyle retailer.
Gass stated that Vandemore’s financial, operational, and consumer experience makes him the right partner to help the company reach its goal of becoming a $10 billion company. Vandemore joins Levi Strauss & Co.
