Hasan Piker, a political streamer from New Jersey, is facing criticism after telling New York Magazine that he distinguishes between "good Whites" and "bad Whites" as part of a strategy to reach conservative voters.
The 35-year-old influencer described himself as a Westernized "White guy" but claimed he does not fit the profile of what he terms "bad" White people.
Piker told the magazine that states like Wisconsin contain the "good kind of White folk," describing them as having German, Dutch, and old trade unionist roots, while contrasting them with the "libertarian streak of White folk" he associated with Texas.
In the interview, Piker argued that Democratic efforts to target specific segments of White conservatives have failed, though he believed these voters could still be mobilized.
