Ten million dollars just landed for a startup building the plumbing that lets stablecoins move like payments. Stablecoins are digital tokens pegged to a fixed value, most commonly one U.S.
dollar, so they hold their price where assets like bitcoin and ether do not.
Diameter Pay, a stablecoin payments infrastructure startup, raised that amount in a Series A round co-led by CMT Digital and Lightspeed Faction. Infrastructure is the operative word.
In payments, that term covers the layer beneath any visible transaction: the routing, settlement logic, and connectivity that has to work before a merchant or consumer sees a confirmation screen.
