Curium to acquire Lantheus Holdings in deal worth up to $8.0 billion

A radiopharmaceutical company, one that develops drugs using radioactive compounds to help clinicians detect and treat disease, is changing hands in a deal valued at up to $8.0 billion.

Curium US Holdings LLC signed a definitive agreement on August 3, 2026 to buy all outstanding shares of Bedford, Massachusetts-based Lantheus Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNTH) at $102.50 per share in cash.

Shareholders stand to collect up to $12.00 more per share through contingent value rights tied to product milestones running through 2030.

What the deal terms say Contingent value rights, or CVRs, are non-transferable instruments that pay out only when named products hit specific commercial targets. The $12.00 per share is the maximum possible payout.
