Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson and his wife Haley Cavinder met after he sent her a direct message asking about her golf game.
Cavinder, a former college athlete and influencer, recounted the origin story on an episode of People's WAG World.
She noted that Ferguson simply DMed her to ask how her golf game was, a simple approach that led to a relationship and eventually marriage.
Cavinder stated that neither party was actively looking for a partner at the time. However, they spent 10 days together straight, and she described Ferguson as a good, down-to-earth human being.
