Coinbase has published a quantum computing threat assessment that names exchange cold wallets — offline storage used by trading platforms — among the millions of bitcoin ($BTC) exposed by address reuse.
The report matters because it implicates custodial infrastructure, not just individual wallets, in a vulnerability that becomes more serious as quantum hardware advances.
