A dividend, the cash payment a company sends directly to its shareholders, of HKD 0.589 per share is on its way to WUXIF investors. The ex-dividend date and the record date both fall on August 20, 2026. Payment follows on September 4, 2026.

Two dates that define who qualifies

Not every shareholder collects a dividend automatically. The ex-dividend date is the cutoff. Buy shares on or after that date and the seller receives the payment, not the buyer. Purchase before it and your name will appear on the eligibility list.

WUXIF set August 20, 2026, as its ex-dividend date. That is also the record date, the day the company checks its formal shareholder register. The two dates coincide because most stock markets settle trades in one or two business days. A buyer who purchases shares just before the ex-date clears the settlement window and appears in the register before the books close.

Investors who already hold WUXIF shares and plan to keep them past August 20 do not need to take any action. Eligibility is determined by the register, not by a separate application.

How cash travels from record date to payment date

Being eligible and holding the cash are not the same moment, and the gap between them is intentional.

After August 20, the company finalizes its shareholder list, calculates each holder's allocation based on shares held, and begins routing funds through the payment chain: from the company's accounts to custodians, then to brokers, and finally to individual investor accounts. WUXIF has scheduled September 4, 2026, as the payment date. That puts fifteen days between the record date and the cash arriving.

A note on the currency

The dividend is declared in HKD, the Hong Kong dollar. For shareholders holding WUXIF in accounts denominated in a different currency, the amount received locally depends on the exchange rate their broker applies around September 4. The declared figure is HKD 0.589 per share. Currency conversion is a downstream step, separate from the distribution itself.
