The white version remains at full price. The Sonos Ace carry a balanced sound profile, lighter on bass than competitors like the Sony WH-1000XM5. The build is comfortable, and the soundstage, the sense of width and separation in the audio, is expansive. Active noise cancellation comes paired with a transparency mode that lets outside sound through on demand, and battery life runs to 30 hours on a single charge. Multipoint Bluetooth pairing lets the headphones stay connected to more than one device at once. Codec support is aptX Lossless or AAC depending on the connected device, and USB-C delivers lossless audio.

Owners of a Sonos Arc or another compatible Sonos soundbar can move audio from the speaker to the headphones with a single button press. The Ace then deliver spatial audio with head tracking for movies, TV, and games, keeping the sound field anchored to the screen as your head moves.
