RJ Mitte, the actor best known for playing Walter White Jr. on the AMC series "Breaking Bad," has died at age 34. His cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
His representative told Fox News Digital that the entertainment world lost a beloved actor, philanthropist, and disability rights advocate. The statement highlighted that Mitte drew from his own experience living with cerebral palsy to bring authenticity to his role on the Emmy Award-winning show, while also building a platform for disability awareness and inclusion.
Mitte served as president of The Mitte Foundation, which supports philanthropic efforts and community initiatives. He used his platform to challenge stereotypes and promote greater representation for people with disabilities. Like his character Flynn White, Mitte had cerebral palsy and was a disability rights advocate.
TMZ reported that Mitte appeared on "The Joe Vulpis Podcast" last week, where he discussed how "Breaking Bad" changed his life and described his close relationship with the cast years after the series finale.
