Nextdoor Holdings, Inc. will voluntarily transfer its common stock listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Nasdaq Capital Market, with the change becoming effective after market close on October 13, 2026. The company announced the move in an 8-K filing, stating that its shares are expected to begin trading as a Nasdaq-listed security on October 14, 2026, while retaining its current ticker symbol, NXDR.

Nirav Tolia, CEO and co-founder of Nextdoor, said the decision aims to leverage Nasdaq’s technology and information services for shareholders while driving operational efficiencies. Tolia added that the company is excited to join many of the world’s largest and most innovative companies on the exchange.

Nextdoor describes itself as a neighborhood network for over 110 million verified neighbors. The platform offers local news, real-time safety alerts, neighbor recommendations, for-sale and free listings, and events. Beyond individual users, businesses, news publishers, and public agencies use the service to share information and engage with local communities.

The company noted that it uses its Investor Relations website, X handle, LinkedIn pages, and CEO social media accounts to disseminate news regarding its business, financial performance, and earnings releases. These channels also serve as means for disclosing material nonpublic information in compliance with Regulation FD.
