The new Apple TV 4K (4th gen) features far-field microphones that let users talk to Siri hands-free and includes Find My built into the remote.
Apple introduced the refreshed device at its Welcome Home event in New York City. The fourth-generation model is the first to support the Siri AI voice assistant. It keeps the same external look as the previous version but adds under-the-hood hardware improvements.
A new home theatre feature allows users to pair up to four second-generation HomePods or HomePod Mini 2s for surround sound. The Apple TV 4K costs $299, which is $50 more than the current top-of-the-line model being discontinued. This price is more than double what the prior-generation Apple TV 4K cost at launch.
